IGB were no more and The Marquee was to be a 'warm up' for Gillan's appearance at the Reading Festival two months later where they took the audience by storm. Fame and fortune beckoned but only with a couple of line up changes around a year later. Never to play The Marquee again as demand for the band meant they would play the larger Rainbow Theatre and Hammersmith Odeon.
