Blackmore's Night is the British/American traditional folk rock duo led by Ritchie Blackmore (acoustic and electric guitar) and Candice Night (lead vocals, lyricist and multi-instrumentalist).

Fires at Midnight is a Blackmore's Night's third studio album released on July 10, 2001 through SPV/Steamhammer. In comparison with their previous two releases, there are more electric guitar parts on this album, whilst maintaining a folk rock direction.

It featured the singles "The Times They Are a Changin'", "Home Again" and "All Because of You".

Limited edition of German edition with bonus track: "Possum's Last Dance" and video clip

Japanese Release on Pony Canyon with different artwork and bonus track: "Sake Of Song"

US release on SPV in 2001 includes bonustrack "Sake Of Song" and video for "The Times They Are A-Changin'".

A "25th anniversary" edition released on September 27, 2024, via Edel/earMusic, fully remixed from the original multitrack masters, with all bonus tracks from previous editions, plus new versions of Written In The Stars and the title track, with new vocals recorded by Candice Night in 2024.
