Support Act Gothenburg 26.09.1977:
Vikivaki
Vikivaki was support for the concert in Gothenburg in 1977. Seems to be a last minute addition. Kingfish was for the rest of the European & UK Tour 1977 the support act. Vikivaki was a melodic hard rocking act that hailed from Kungälv, Sweden. The band was founded by Hans and Jon-Erik 'Jon' Gislason when they were still at the Kongahalla Gymnasium. Vikivaki played a mix of rock and Icelandic folk music and they released two singles and two albums between 1973 and 1977.
Support Act Europe (except Sweden) & U.K. 1977:
Kingfish
Kingfish was support for both the European and U.K Tour in 1977 (except the Swedish dates). Kingfish is an American rock band led by Matthew Kelly, a musician, singer, and songwriter who plays guitar and harmonica. Kelly co-founded Kingfish in 1973 with New Riders of the Purple Sage bass player Dave Torbert and fellow San Francisco Bay Area musicians Robbie Hoddinott, Chris Herold, and Mick Ward.
