In 1977 Bonnet released his first solo album and although it was not very successful in the UK, Australia and Europe went rather warm for the album. In 1979 Graham was asked to replace Ronnie James Dio in the band Rainbow. The album 'Down to Earth' was their most successful album with the hit Since You Been Gone. After Rainbow Bonnet continued his solo career and working with Yngwie Malmsteen and Steve Vai in the band Alcatrazz. Despite the singer has reached the retirement age of 66 now he is not ready yet and is full of energy on stage. In 1977 bracht Bonnet zijn eerste soloalbum uit en ondanks het niet heel succesvol was in Engeland, liepen Australië en Europa wel warm voor het album. In 1979 werd Graham gevraagd om Ronnie James Dio te vervangen in de band Rainbow. Het album ‘Down to Earth’ was hun meest succesvolle album met het de hit Since You Been Gone. Na Rainbow gaat Bonnet verder met zijn solocarričre en werkt samen met Yngwie Malmsteen en Steve Vai in de band Alcatrazz. Ondanks dat deze krasse knar inmiddels de pensioengerechtigde leeftijd van 66 heeft bereikt, is hij nog lang niet klaar en staat vol energie op het podium.  |
