He lives with his wife Sari and their son Jim in Jakobstad, Finland. Henric started to play guitar with his childhood friend, Peter at the age of ten, inspired by Peter’s older brother, also a guitarist, who lived in Stockholm at the time and introduced the young boys to Jimi Hendrix and Frank Marino among others. A milestone for Henric personally was when he got the chance to play and back up Doogie White on his visit to Finland in March 2009. It was a club gig at Jeppis Music Club and songs by Rainbow, Iron Maiden and Malmsteen were played. It was magical! Then another milestone... Not long after, he was again asked if he wanted to join... Doogie was coming back to Finland, this time to play two gigs - one at Cafe Tivoli and another at a festival called Untorock. Henric was not hard to persuade... And once again, they had a RAWKing time. This gave Henric an idea – he remembered Doogie talking about how he liked to work with different guitarists. Henric had a lot of his own songs that he had written over the years, and he started thinking about releasing a solo album. These songs needed vocals, so Henric contacted Doogie in 2011 and asked (He could only get a no for an answer!) if Doogie would be interested in collaborating on some songs. Henric sent over some demos which he had made in his small home studio so Doogie could listen to some ideas. So you can imagine his surprise when Doogie responded positively. To this date, it is clear that co-operation is going to happen. Doogie is busy with his many projects, but a preliminary decision is that by late summer or autumn something is going to start happening. Henric's goal is to invite several of his friends to participate on this album, including singers, drummers, bass players and keyboardists, but all guitars and some bass will be played by Henric. All songs will be written by Henric but with co-operation on the melodies and lyrics. The solo album titled "All Of Your Illusions" finally got a release on May 16th, 2014. Doogie White co-wrote and sang on "Lonely As I Am".
