Michael Men). Michael Men acquired the services of veteran rock vocalist Joe Lynn Turner (Rainbow, Deep Purple) to perform a show consisting of original hard rock songs and record the whole thing. The album was released the past decade only in Russia, but now has been completely digitally remastered 2019 and including a previously unreleased track, titled "Joe Lynn Turner – Michael Men Project, Made In Moscow". Michael Men had first met Turner when he performed in Russia with the Hughes Turner Project. In 2004 he invited them to take part in the recording of a hard-rock album he was putting together and in September of that year the pair went to Moscow to write and record with Men. Along with Turner the album featured several local – and talented – musicians. The majority of the songs here had been written in the ’80s by Men and Joe Lynn Turner contributed the lyrics. The album, entitled 'Made In Moscow' is a reference to the Deep Purple live albums Made in Japan and Made in Europe. Yes, all these songs have an ’80s Deep Purple / Rainbow flavor, Joe Lynn Turner’s vocals are in top form, musicianship is strong, and production, excellent.
