Back in 1994 Sweet guitarist Stuart Smith along with drummer Richie Onori put together the Heaven & Earth project which ended up becoming a worldwide classic for all rock fans and won Stuart Smith the award for "Best Guitarist" and "Best New CD" for three years running at the Los Angeles All Access Music Awards.

The CD features a star studded cast with vocal and musical performances from Richie Sambora, (Bon Jovi), Joe Lynn Turner, (Rainbow), Glenn Hughes, (Deep Purple), Bobby Kimball, (Toto), Kelly Hansen, (Foreigner), Steve Priest, (Sweet), Carmine Appice, (Jeff Beck Group/Vanilla Fudge/Rod Stewart), Howard Leese, (Heart) and many others.

Heaven & Earth features a mixture of diverse musical styles ranging from rock to blues to classical to power pop. The CD became an instant cult classic and brought Smith to the forefront of the guitar elite being compared in the press to Blackmore, Beck, Clapton and Page.
