In a live concert setting, the group expands to anywhere from 4 to 6 members in order to duplicate the lush arrangements found on the recordings. 4Front has appeared in concert with Kansas, Marillion, and Saga. 4Front’s long-awaited third album, Malice in Wonderland, is set now available, with ten amazing new songs, and art design by the legendary Hugh Syme (who has designed every album and DVD cover for Rush). The connection to Rush in the band's music is strong, as they are a principal influence, but also personal, since Bergamini worked personally with Neil Peart on his Hudson Music DVD release, Taking Center Stage: A Lifetime of Live Performance. Bergamini is also well known as a drummer in the orchestra pits of Broadway, and as a member of the legendary progressive rock group Happy the Man. Keyboard player David Rosenthal (Billy Joel, Rainbow, Steve Vai), Joe's bandmate from Happy the Man, makes a guest appearance on Malice in Wonderland.
