They were promoting "Difficult To Cure" then, the group's first album with Joe Lynn Turner on vocals, off which four songs made it to the stage on that tour, other cuts being from their previous records and encore a Deep Purple perennial. Available for years as a bootleg, now the tape makes it to the market in a legitimate way. Boston 1981 will be released on CD, in a limited edition mini-LP wallet, and a double vinyl – blue, green or red – with a stitched-in 20-page booklet. A great addition to any collection.
