Notes:

Ronnie Romero was born and rised in Chile in a Protestants family of musicians, and started singing at the age of 7 in a gospel choir. After being introducted to Rock music he soon realises he wants to be a Rock-Metal Singer, developing a strong and powerful singing style melting together the best of his favourite singers and influences such Ian Gillan, David Coverdale, Steve Perry and his beloved Ronnie James Dio.

Ronnie moves to Spain in 2011 and soon developes his music career along renowned musicians and collaborating with many other bands of different styles. After meeting and working with Tony Hernando for the very first time in a big Dio Tribute Concert which took place in 2013, and after the events when both Ronnie and Tony were free of their musical commitments, they meet up and decided to form a new band under the name of Lords Of Black.

Lords of Black is the new band formed by world class singer Ronnie Romero, legendary guitarist Tony Hernando, monster drummer Andy C. and bassist Víctor Durán. Right after the Farewell Tour of the band Saratoga, Tony Hernando joins forces with Ronnie Romero, one of the best singers in the scene, founding Lords of Black a Metal band with a modern approach yet catchy, melodic and progressive.

Former Saratoga drummer and bandmate with Tony Hernando for the last 7 years Andy C., joins them and finally, after a long quest for the appropiate bass player they finally fill the line up with Víctor Durán, former Tony Hernando’s student and guitarist for the band Khael.

After months of intense and hard work on the songs, composing, arranging, demoing, the recording-mixing process takes place with legendary guitarist and producer Roland Grapow (Masterplan, Ex Helloween), who had worked previously on Tony Hernando´s latest solo álbum “Actual events” and the last two studio albums by Saratoga.

The debut album with the title of “Lords of Black” has been just released in May 2014!
