Michael Joseph "Micky" Moody (born 30 August 1950) is an English guitarist, and a former member of the rock bands Juicy Lucy and Whitesnake. He was also a founder-member of Snafu. Moody performed as an original member of Status Quo drummer John Coghlan's Diesel Band, then recorded an album with the band's tour manager and lyricist, Bob Young. The result was "Young & Moody" in 1977.

They recorded "Don't do that" in 1983 with many special guests including Cozy Powell, Lemmy Kilmister and the Nolan Sisters.

The "The Nearest Hits Album" contains singles and other tracks recorded between 1976 and 1992. Track 1-11 were produced by Roger Glover. Other producers involved are Francis Rossi (13), Stuart Taylor (12, 14, 15), Minhinnett, Young & Moody (16, 17) and Micky Moody & Stuart Taylor (18)
